Chef Schulz's Tartar Sauce



  • 1/3 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 small dill pickles, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp shallots, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  • 2 tsp capers, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • Salt and fresh group pepper, to taste



  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to one hour. Serve alongside your favourite Fish n’ Chips recipe.

  2. Remix tartar sauce before serving.
