Sesame Honey Ginger Atlantic Salmon Marinade

There are so many ways to dress up your Atlantic Salmon portions. Here's one of our favourites, inspired by Asian cuisine.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1 1/2 tablespoon honey

1 cube Toppits Pop Herbs Ginger, defrosted

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sesame oil

3 teaspoons sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Remove frozen portions from packaging prior to thawing. Store thawed fish in refrigerator and use within 24 hours.

  2. Whisk the soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Set the mixture aside.

  3. Place the salmon portions in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over the salmon. Cover and refrigerator for 5 minutes.

  4. Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Pour the sesame oil. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on grill or skillet, skin side up. Cook for 5 minutes. Flip the salmon, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and cook until fish flakes easily or about 5-7 minutes.

  5. Serve with green veggies.
