Tuna Tartare



  • 4 blocks of Toppits Ahi Tuna

  • 1 avocado

  • 8 tbsp. of pickled ginger

  • 8 tbsp. of capers

  • 1 red onion




  1. Lightly oil a pan and pan sear the tuna on medium heat for 20 seconds on each side. Remove the tuna from heat and let it sit for 8-10 minutes.

  2. Chop the red onion and thinly slice the avocado lengthwise.

  3. Pan-fry the capers on medium heat for 2-3 minutes (until they bloom).

  4. Cut the tuna into ½ inch cubes and assemble all the ingredients onto a plate.

  5. Enjoy your Tuna Tartare!
