Garlic Hummus & Dill Dip

 

Hummus Ingredients:

  • 2 Garlic Pop Herbs

  • 2 Parsley Pop Herbs

  • 1 Chili Pop Herb

  • 1 can of chickpeas (drained with liquid set aside for later use)

  • ¼ cup of olive oil

  • 1 tsp. of lemon Juice

 

Hummus Directions:

  1. Combine drained chickpeas, Pop Herbs, olive oil and lemon juice in food processor and blend. Slowly add chickpea liquid until desired consistency is achieved. Serve hummus dip with pita triangles and fresh veggies.

 

Dill Dip Ingredients:

  • 6-8 Dill Pop Herbs

  • 1 tub sour cream (500 g)

  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • Sea salt to taste

 

Dill Dip Directions:

  1. Simply pop the dill cubes into the sour cream, lemon juice and salt, let rest 2 minutes and blend.

 

*Toppits Tip:  Try lightening up the dipping sauce by replacing the sour cream with non-fat Greek yogurt and serve with freshly cut veggies for your next get together.  Also, to give this recipe a little kick, try adding 1 Chili Pepper Pop Herb and 2 Garlic Pop Herbs. You could also substitute the Dill for Basil, if your menu has Italian flavours.
